Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Figurines

After defeating Ganon and reclaiming peace in Hyrule, Link feels restless. He feels he needs more training or enlightenment and decides to set sail on Koholint Island to find those things. He reaches the beach of Toronbo Shores and sees Marin, who claims to have a beautiful voice that can awaken anyone who hears it. Link is skeptical but she takes him back to her house in Mabe Village, where he discovers a strange black room filled with rainbow clouds.

While he sleeps, a giant Wind Fish floats above the room and a message appears on the screen, claiming that it will bring great change to the world if it is awakened. The message also says that only the hero with the pure heart can awaken it. Link dreams that he battles the monsters of the land, transforming into different forms along the way to defeat them. Eventually, he defeats the Shadow Nightmares that created them, and the Wind Fish transforms into its normal form and flies away.

The next morning, Link is greeted by Marin, who is standing on the shore of Toronbo Shores. She claims to be able to wake up anyone who hears her song. He is sceptical but she takes him back to her house in the village where he discovers a strange black space filled with clouds and a message that reads “The End.” When the message finishes, an image of Marin floats above the words, then flies away and fades into Seagulls flying overhead.

As in the original, Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening features figurines to collect throughout the game. These can be obtained by beating each of the game’s dungeons. Each one resembles a well-known Mario enemy, which is a nod to the fact that both this remake and the original contained enemies from the Nintendo franchise that didn’t appear in any other Zelda title. Once a figurine is collected, it can be placed on the corresponding pedestal in one of the houses in Mabe Village.

Ciao Ciao is the first figurine to be obtained. To do so, head to the house BowWow is barking outside of and enter through the left door. Place it on the table in the house. Goomba is the second figurine to be acquired, and can be placed on the table in Marin and Tarin’s house. Spiny is the third figurine to be obtained, and must be placed on the pedestal in Papahl’s house.

After obtaining each of the figurines, they can be returned to their respective pedestals by entering the Trendy Game in Mabe Village. Each time, a new figurine will be available as a prize. It should be noted that some figures won’t appear as prizes until you’ve visited and beat a certain number of dungeons. In addition, some figures won’t spawn in the Crane Game until you’ve offloaded one of its predecessors. Here is a complete list of all the figurines and their locations:
