Link’s Awakening Figurine Quest

If you’re looking to add a little more Nintendo flair to your home, then this figurine quest might be for you. In the remade Switch version of Link’s Awakening, you can collect ten figurines based on iconic enemies from the Super Mario franchise, such as Goombas and Boos, to place in homes around Mabe Village. The process is easy and doesn’t require any special equipment.

First, you’ll need to connect your PC to the Meta Quest headset using a USB cable. You can use the same cable that came with your headset or buy one from Oculus’s store (see the link below). After connecting, open the Oculus PC app and log in using your Meta account. You’ll be prompted to allow the computer access to your headset files. Select “Allow” and continue.

You can only carry one figurine in your inventory at a time, so once you off-load a figure it won’t appear as a Trendy Game prize until you pick up another. That said, some figures don’t spawn until you complete certain dungeons in the game.

BowWow Figurine

This prickly-paddled cactus is the first figurine you can get, and it’s available once you get through Turtle Rock, the game’s eighth and final dungeon. It’s in the far corner of Papahl’s house, the two-door house to the north of Mabe Village.

Shy Guy Figurine

These sneaky enemies typically mimic your movements and taunt you in the dungeons, but as figurines they just sit there. Regardless, you can grab this one from the Trendy Game when it appears and place it on the pedestal in Papahl’s house.

Pokey Figurine

This figurine is unlockable after you get through Catfish’s Maw, the fifth dungeon. Like the prickly cactus, it also sits in the far corner of Papahl’s home. Finally, there’s the Cheep Cheep figurine. This jumping fish enemy from Mario can be found in old man Ulrira’s house, the house to the left of the phone booth in Mabe Village.
